OUR CHILDREN

HOME for street and orphan children

You can easily find a large number of children on the streets.  These children do not have anyone to care for their physical, mental and spiritual needs.  With this burden of reaching children, we started a day school for street children at Bethesda Church.  Sadly, we did not get good results.  From age 12 onwards it was difficult to keep track of them as they got into bad habits of smoking, taking drugs, and so on.  As a result of this we found that they need a home to live in so that they can be ministered to physically, mentally and spiritually.

Rev Thomas Moses, burdened for these children, began a home for them; this home has been making a difference in the lives of such children for the past 15 years by the grace of God.  Right now we have 45 kids; each child has a very tragic story to tell.  Each of these children is at school in different grades.  In the near future we hope to see these children as Pastors, Missionaries, Doctors and Engineers and, especially, as good stewards of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  This home is called Bethesda Child Care Home.

Each child needs £10 every month to take care of food and other needs of the Home.

If these stories move you to want to help us to help these children and many others still out there on the streets of Bangalore click here.

We picture below just a few of the 45 children now at our orphanage.  In the THEN picture we show the child as they arrived at our door and what tragic backgrounds accompanied them.  In the NOW picture we have attempted to show the difference that being with us has made.  Remember these are just a few of the children we have in our care and there are many more on the streets needing our help.
